After a cold wet winter, SMYC is looking forward to a new season and its challenges. After sailng away with the Championship last season, Bill has rebuilt Debra Ann.

Sean Dexter joined us for 2 outings last year and in both cases, he finished right on Bill's heels. If his work schedule permits, Sean will be a serious contender for the 2008 Championship.

Pip and Cliff continue to turn in competitive finishes. Showing great improvement as the season went on, Steve proved that getting in as much stick time between races pays off in dividends. Even Gary began to get a better feel for the some of sailing basics.

Philip Chou only made it to the lake twice, and had some equipment problems to contend with. Hopefully he can join us more this season. Another CR 914 is under construction and it bears the number 1434 on its sail. Hopefully we will see it out on the lake this season, Bob?
